LNT founder Lawrence Tomlinson buys out his parents care home company. From these seeds he grows Tri-Care which later became Orchard Care Homes.
1991
LNT construction is established creating it's first purpose-built care home, beginning it's initial 10 year period of expansion.
1999-2000
LNT establishes its software arm.
Coolcare develops care home management tools that are widely used throughout the industry.
LNT creates in-house market-leading software BigMap to enable quick decision making.
2005
LNT Construction develop their 50th home.
2008
LNT starts its vertical integration model by acquiring Haigh Electrical followed by Hobsons Mechanical.
2010
LNT Construction develop their 100th home.
2013
LNT begins a new 5-year programme of innovation, investing in groundsource heatpumps, comfort cooling and a new second generation of modern designs.
2017
Comfort Cooling becomes common place in our homes.
2018
LNT begins a further 10-year expansion plan which involves significant investment in land.
2021
LNT aquires Ace Joinery and Contract Furniture Manufacturing Ltd, and invests in PV Technology Company.
2021
LNT stops using gas in its homes.
2022
LNT completes its 200th home, and the first of its carbon-zero models, continuing to expand through its 3rd phase of growth.
