Developments are looking for Experienced Plumbers to join our site teams

Role Purpose:

To transport goods and materials between LNT Construction sites and the warehouse, ensuring safe driving, secure loading, and legal compliance at all times. The role also involves assisting with day-to-day warehouse operations, checking and maintaining vehicles, and processing returned items.

Key Responsibilities:

Driving & Transport

  • Load and deliver goods from Unit 6C to various sites across the UK.
  • Unload and collect returning items for processing back at the warehouse.
  • Carry out daily vehicle checks and report any defects immediately.
  • Ensure compliance with driver hours and tachograph regulations.
  • Drive a 7.5t vehicle on an ad hoc basis when required.
  • Secure all loads safely and appropriately.

Warehouse Support

  • Assist with receiving, checking, and storing deliveries.
  • Sort and test returned items (e.g. festoon lighting, 110v equipment).
  • Process returned goods for re-use and register assets correctly.
  • Keep warehouse areas clean, safe, and organised.

Asset & Equipment Care

  • Take responsibility for any tools, equipment, or property issued.
  • Ensure all items are clean, functional, and returned in good condition.
  • Report any faults or issues to your line manager.

Essential Requirements:

  • Full UK driving licence with C1 entitlement or higher.
  • Valid Driver CPC (DQC) and tachograph card.
  • At least two years’ experience driving long wheelbase vehicles.
  • Confident securing and transporting various load types.
  • Willing to stay overnight when required.
  • Good understanding of the Highway Code and road safety.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: £14.24 per hour

Expected hours: 37.5 per week

Schedule:

  • Monday to Friday
