Apprentice Payroll/Administration Assistant

LNT is a proud Yorkshire based business in Garforth owned by the serial entrepreneur, Lawrence Tomlinson. The group is undergoing a significant amount of change and growth.

This is a great apprenticeship opportunity for those who like to undertake a variety of tasks and can multi-task with ease. As an Apprentice Payroll/Administration assistant you will be expected to turn your hand to various jobs whilst maintaining a professional attitude at all times. So, if you are an organised individual, have an interest in figures and a keen eye for detail, this is the perfect job for you.

Essential Functions & Basic Duties:

Communicating over the telephone with colleagues

Assist with processing 4 weekly payroll using Sage 50

Organise and report data

Use of in-house computer systems

Sending and receiving emails

Filing and maintaining internal documents

Store and retrieve information

Scanning documents

Archiving documents

Personal Specifications:

Ability to make efficient use of resources

High level of motivation

Be able to use own initiative

Attention to detail

Excellent communication skills & telephone manner

Ability to multi-task

Basic Numeracy and Literacy skills
