About the role

The Automotive Group Financial Controller is a key member of the Finance Team, supporting the Group Board and line managing the Financial Controllers for each of the Automotive businesses.

A key part of the role is to ensure that within the automotive division accurate financial records are maintained, adequate controls are in place, financial transactions are promptly and accurately processed, high quality financial information is provided to the business and that assets are safeguarded.

Commercial and Championship Event Assistant

Working as part of a close-knit team under the direction of the Head of Motorsport and Championships Manager, key responsibilities will include:

SIMULATOR DATA ENGINEER

SIMTrack is the North of England’s premier race driver training simulator centre.  Based at the Ginetta Motorsport factory near Leeds, we work with racing drivers, race teams and instructors to deliver driver training services on our professional grade motorsport simulator

We are looking for a Simulator Data Engineer to join our team to be responsible for all technical and data aspects of our simulator suite (hardware & software), run some customer sessions and assist the MD with the day to day running of the business (particularly marketing and social media).

Key Responsibilities:

Assist in the running of sim sessions, both for racing drivers and corporate event days.

Development of car models on the software from technical data, video, telemetry and driver feedback.

Analyse data to improve the performance of drivers and evaluate vehicle setups.

Improve customer experience through refining the performance of simulator (hardware & software)

Delivery Factory tours to corporate guests

Assist with the day to day running of the business, including general administrative tasks.

Social media promotion (account management & post creation) including video creation.

Person Specification:

Motorsport Engineering degree preferred

Keen interest in and understanding of vehicle dynamics

Experience with PC based driving sims essential, particularly Assetto Corsa

Race engineering experience preferred

Strong interpersonal skills

Methodical approach to problem solving

Experience with CAD software and photoshop preferred

Experience of Social Media Content creation

As a junior assembly engineer, you will be producing from component form a number of high-performance GT and Prototype race cars. As a Ginetta GRP laminator, you will be producing the bodywork for a large number of production road and race cars, supporting the manufacturing plant.
