LNT Care Developments (“LNT”) has today handed over the completed care home, The Orchards at Ely to Greensleeves Care.

LNT Care Developments (“LNT”) commenced work on the site in July 2018, taking just 54 weeks to complete the project on time. Once open, the care facility will be owned and operated by Greensleeves Care, an award-winning care charity.

The 66-bed care home will be a strong community facility, integrating with the nearby local facilities of shops, churches and schools. It will provide outstanding accommodation with fully en-suite bedrooms, spacious communal areas, and state-of-the-art amenities including a cinema, library, garden room and tea shop, all surrounded by beautifully landscaped gardens.

Nick Broadbent, Development Director at LNT Care Developments said:

We are delighted to have built such as fantastic facility for Greensleeves Care and are very much looking forward to seeing the care home become a fantastic local community facility.
Given Greensleeves has opted for our Turn of Key offering, LNT has fully furnished and dressed the home by equipping it right down to cutlery, bed linen, handy-man’s tool kit and lawnmower.”

Paul Newman, Chief Executive at Greensleeves Care said:

“LNT’s substantial experience in the care sector means we have procured an attractive and fit for purpose home which incorporates all their learning and insight. The home is ready to go from day one and we look forward to welcoming our first wave of residents and supporting the wider Ely community.”

LNT has gained a reputation within the care industry for their ability to deliver projects on time, to schedule and are therefore confident of a timely completion of the build.

At present, LNT has a pipeline of over 20 sites across the UK with 7 currently under construction.  As a national developer, LNT continues to seek suitable sites for their care home and assisted living developments.
